KATHYA ALEXANDER - STORYTELLER

THE WEDDING

Set during the 1960s, this story is about a big wedding in a small rural Negro community in Arkansas.

SWEET SWEET DADDY

There was nothing Daddy loved  more than Mama's homemade Rex strawberry jelly cake!

THE STORY OF EMMETT TILL

The modern Civil Rights Movement started after the brutal murder of 14 year old, Emmett Till in Money, Mississippi. Jet Magazine published the photo of his mutilated body with the permission of his mother, Mamie Till Mobley, who said, "I want the world to see what they did to my son."
